About Andreea
With a background in Architecture, Art, Garden Design and Sustainable Design, Andreea Scurtu has studied and worked in Italy for the last 15 years. Andreea's ambitions are to develop a clear standpoint to make a distinct and original response to designing future landscapes at a time when garden design practice is growing in a significant way in the private and public consciousness. Her contribution wants to be identifiable for the development of the realities and complexities of the landscape in the cultural, theoretical and practice context to a professional standard.
Andreea's goals are to improve the environment, conserve biodiversity, and always be aware that the landscape is a dynamic system. She brings a wealth of fresh ideas in her projects, in addition to her excellent design skills.

What we do
Gardens&Projects is based near Edinburgh, in the East Lothian County and works on design projects across Scotland as well as on larger-scale projects across the UK and internationally.
As a small studio of garden designers, we work on a broad range of projects varying in scale from courtyards to country estates and commercial projects. When designs are complete we work with tried and tested landscaping teams to bring designs to reality. The studio’s design style is first and foremost client and site-led. We are inspired by your taste and aspirations and our designs are a fine balance of practicality and elegance. In residential projects, our goal is to create gardens that are sustainable, ecological, and effortless extensions of your home.
